Diving was sooOOoo damn fuN!! Lurve it!!! n the peeps dere were real frenly n nice to be wif too! all fun loving pple! Andy is super funny.... very drama..hahaha! hopefully can still keep in touch n go for another dive 2gether as a grp! YuppieES!!

stoopid quiz at 730PM... made me come fr hm at such a weird timin.. but went to Long John's to accompany serene n the others for dinner.. ok la, only serene n seline ate..hahAHahH! our way of celebrating the start of holiday! was really fun! kept laughin all the way~~

VDAY!!!!!!!!

really greaT!! flower selling at esplanade..cityhall..etc..haha! quite fun actually, was selling dis Glow-in-the-Dark flowers at $10 per bunch of 3.. hahHAhaaH!

Had fun shouting n laughing all the way.. Gen n sue kept targeting 'brokeback mountains' hahAha! n we sort of found out sumthin... Couples wun buy flowers fr u.. u shld attack those single men walking ard aimlessly... hahAHa! small grps of guys also can.. and of cos, brokeback mountains..haHAhah! Cos normally couples would alrd haf gotten a bouquet of flowers or so..

one more interesting fact of the day!! Ah Bengs are stoopiD!!!!!!!! very easy to keng money!! Cos it was ard 6pm+ n the flowers not really glowing cos of the surronding lightings..but the ah bengs actually paid $10 for the tissue-paper-roses..cos they wanted to chase after some gals further up front..haHAhahah!

anyway, we got tired at ard 10pm, n din approach pple on our way back to suntec, but 1 or 2 guys came up to us to buy the flowers... no need waste effort!!

went Fish n Co for dinner cum supper, split the earnings n we each got ard $22 for the day, half of the earnings given to the entrepreneur who gave us dis job.. some guy fr NTU also. Got other teams of 4 selling flowers too.. one gal looked familiar n she waved at me fr far..but i sort of ignored her..haha! later i learnt dat team is fr hall8, n dat gal i thnk is winnie? some1 who came for cheerleading wif me rach n the rest..felt so guilty fo dao-ing her..hahaH!

here i am, stuCk in hall wif lousy msn.. it's seriously SoT alrd! i can't send out messages... urGH~ boRed~ well, i shall blog then.. heard an interesting story fr my mum..bout my Grandfather in the WW2 period.. here it is! gr8 story! dun be frightened of these words.. read on! it's worth it!

My grandad seems to be quite a smart guy.. haha! when the jap attacked, he was jus lyk every other ordinary pple.. trying to hide fr the jap..etc until one day jus so happened dat the japs crossed his path.. in those days, the Japs would kill almost any1 they see.. (dat's wat my mum said, guess she exagerrated maybe?) yar.. so my grandad started speaking short japanese sentences.. here n dere.. n the Japs were impressed wif him! they recruited him, taught him japanese and hired him as a translator. And so.. the family grew richer. He was well paid and always given sacks of rice and shophouses every now n then. N the entire family was given a 'Mian Shi Pai' i.e "excused-fr-death' tag haHAHahahH! seriously..i thnk dat was only in Qing Dynasty time..but well, makes the story more interesting!

When the Japanese were defeated, it was quite chaotic, communist parties were formed and it appeared to em dat my grandad was a traitor who worked for the Japs. So they all wanted to give the family a death sentence!! But he was quick witted enough to turn to the british council and volunteer to work for them. So again.. he was saved!!! He was smart alright.. but too trusting i would say..

All the money he earned, the shops he was entitled to.. everything, he gave it to his brother to manage. Whatever the family needed, his brother will see to it while my grandad was responsiblefor finding more money~ So when he started working for the british, he asked his bro for some money..blablabla..wateva happened between..i'm not sure, main pt is dat the Brother refused to give him back all his property... n only gave him enough to survive. EviL!!! he kept aLLLllLL the money my grandad earned!

but dis brother sort of had retribution i thnk.. his sons n daughters all ended up being quite useless (compared to my grandad's children, my mum's siblings la) and his children lost all the shophouses.. not a single one made it to University.. heE! my uncles did!

eh...so dat's all.. yUP! end of story!! waHAhah! din know my grandad's life so exciting one..oh..dere's more to it!

Not long after WW2, i thnk.. my grandma was introduced to my grandad's family.. by matchmakers.. n the family approved of the marriage. BUT my grandad alrd had a sweetheart! n she was living jus nxt door!! WeiRd~ my mum said the family din lyk the idea of my grandad marrying the nxt door neighbour.. in those days, guess it's not accepted? n last time my mum told me my grandad used to exchangelove letters wif the gal b4 his marriage, cos he still kept em..n my mum found the letters one day..haha! But the family forced him to marry my granma, so he had no choice but to accept his fate~

So till then, my grandad became more rebellious.. he started slacking.. n left his family to my great grandparents to take care.. cos he was damn heARtbroken n jus gave up on his life. He always treated my grandma coldly.. but i wonder how they still managed giving birth to 8 kids..haHHAahah! n he neva cared for the family..always going off early in the mornin n comin hm late at nite.

But towars the end of his life..as he grew older.. he realised my grandma was the best wife in the world.. n at his deathbed, he told her how regretful he felt.. how he realised he had been wasting his life away, how he had given her a haRd life...*soBz* so touching~

iceskating!!!!! at Fuji ice palace

Gen drove us dere in susan's mum's caR yup! was raining heavily but we still wanted to go..been postponing dis activity for weeks i thnk! n finally we're dere!! the 1st time i went was wif the band pple.. weiling they all la! n i dunno how to roller blade dat time, so a bit awkward..n kept falling down.

But after i learnt rollerblading in J2 odac, n then tried out ice skating.. i realised i can do IT!!! haHAHahahaH! Poor peiling.. she fell down 11times!! susan only fell lyk.. 3? waHHAhha! i fell once only..dat was when some1 knocked into me n i sort of lost it...

but then met wif minor Minor accident.. the stoopid multi storey carpark la! the slope quite steep, then the exit/entrance so narrow... aiy0h~ gen knocked into the side railings when goin downslope.. dere was a family of eh.. 6 standing near the staircase..damn interesting..hahaH! cos the 2nd time gen NEARLY crashed again.. they were lyk 'wOAH!!!!' so loud.. haha! but one guy very nice~ he help us a bit.. then tell gen dun panic.. haha..by the way, there were about 4 other cars behind us, or more i thnk..the paint came off la.. quite a bad scratch.. hope susan's mum wun be too mad~ after dis accident, dun thnk i can sit in the car wif gen driving..hahAH!

went to sengkang to fetch yuerui up at 7pm then headed to airport!! Popeye's!!! nice food they haf deRe!! hen sue's dad landed n dropped me n yuerui off at yck mrt stn..

n i finished learining the 46 hiragana characters...yaY* after so many yrs.. i'm finally studying seriously for my Ting Xie.. hahAHahH!

Went to club momo on satur... 7th jan 06! hahhah! was ok la..i like watching pple pole dance..hahaha! n got transversite!!!! Me, ly, pl, sue, gen n yuerui went though me n ly went dere first while gen drove susan's mum's car to fetch pl fr work. n my sis joined us latEr n treat us to a jug of vodaka redbull *blEah* sux...

the toilet's the nicest!! hahah! not smoky or smelly or noisy.. haAHahahAH! n got 4 big comfy couch! On the way hm!! in the car~~ wif susan rding map n gen driving =D

then dropped ly off at snegkang n headed off to jalan kayu for late nite supper! roti praTA!! then went to susan's house to stay overnite! had fun!! weEeeE!! it's really great to haf frens who can drive..1st time i sat in a car driven by a gd fren...... shiOk!!!

n she bought those jade Pi Xiu for my parents! i went hk last yr. n they had those things toO! but i din buy! =P cos quite ex wor~ i no money~~~ *soBz* it's supposed to bring gd luck n prosperity, gd feng shui..etc~ now i got one medium sized encased white Pi Xiu displayed in the living rm..aHahah!

for my entire 2 mths term break!

well, i've been dere a short period of time.. say.. only worked for 9 days i thnk..
dun thnk i'll miss any of em.. maybe Jeslyn or dorothy.. they talk damn alot during lunCh break.. haha!! n also the malay chicken rice n briyani.. niCe~~

n guess wat i had for breakfast today.. my mum made 'carrot milk' or rather.. carrot-flavoured milk, added in real carrot juice.. haha! dat's quite normal actually, cos i drink dat lyk..eh.. once in a blue moon? i'm jus glad it isn't papaya milk *yuX* BUT today.. i tot dis carrot-milk tasted different.. then she told me she actually added in aPple n celery juice to it too *faintzz*
Apple,Celery and Carrot flavoured milk?!?! whoeva tot of DAT?! it tasted ok anyway,
i guess.. with all the flavours mixed, i can't tell which is which wif my blocked nose n sorethroat..
so i guess it sort of tasted lyk plain water to me.. haha!

ok, enuf wif describing my breakfast, i'm now raCking my brains over which electives to take.. a few in mind, but mus see that they'll make my timetabe look nice! Jap language.. i can only make it for their evenin classes which ened at 730!! i woudn't mind dat.. But, fri is my day off, n i wun wan to go back for only 1 Jap lesson at 530-730.. well, tmr then i'll work it all out!

03s3d!!! my class! only 6 pple turned up..quite pathetic la.. scheneider la!!! organiser.. aiyoh, such a failure.. hahaH! but it was fun still! though we din manage to catCh narnia.. to thnk i actaully turned down Pl n susan n the rest for Narnia on satur... soBzz..

haha! Jasmin, me, vira, ah pek, glen n STOP! chinkee din come in the end.. haha! I came latest, n met up wif em at Manhattan Restaurant at PS, saw yanling too with her FRIEND! waHHHahaha! so sad la! yanz! when u left.. i called out ur fren's name to say bye.. but i was totally ignoreD! urgH~~ n my classmates all laughed at me..as usuaL~

well, our outing today, mainly eat, walk ard, go cityhall to send Ah pek off, sit n eat again.. then walk ard..then hm! sounds boring.. but the company was greaT! had a Gd laugh wif my deaR ex classmaTes!! ah pek.. still the same, in faCt the guys din change muCh, they look lyk they're still in our JC days- minus the brown uniform la.. haha! really miSS em!! n they dun believe i got no frens in uni.. haha! ok la.. maybe eh.. a few.. but not those i can lame and laugh madly wif.. ly!!! we 're suffering fr the same fatE!

Ended my exam on wednes! the last paper was the best!! haahH! rather easy actually..i finished lyk.. about 50mins earlier..haHAhah! hope they wun moderate... damn, my surprise quiz results will pull me down!

Finally..an entry fr me!! haha! been quite a long time i know.. guess i better start blogging regulaly le, can't waste yanz's n ser's effort for accessing to my blog despite the 'lagginess' Rite rite?! i'm so guai! haha! here is iT- for my faithful rders!! =D

hmm... most exciting news: i'm gonna stay hall pretty soon!!! Not confirmed yet.. but my sec sch buddy rachel's rm mate might not stay on..so i'll be buNking in wif her in hall8 perhaps.. after 2 or 3 mths later? *yaY* Rach!! onz k! we go jogging every nite..waHahah! mus wait for me leH! my stamina dropped a lot!!

meanwhile, been goin to california fitness! my siS member dere ma.. so i got a 1-mth-free VIP pass!! Facilities dere very vEeEEry gd! Got sauna, steam bath... tv here n dere, water cooler...haha! actually i was keen on getting the 1-mth-free pass cos i wanna try the stam baths..haha! heard Fr my sis reaLly shiok! lyk duH~~ why else would i travel all the way to somerset jus for a work out?! Bleah~ plus i'm so lazy nowadays la.. haha! but din regret it, seriously.. i tink the odac PTs in my time shld haf been changed to visits to the gym..haha! it's more effective then those torturous haversack Pts! they got diff machines for diff muscle grps.. every paRt of my body ached!!

hmmhmm... wat else..oh yaR! project for accountinG!! suX! tues n wednes...stayed in sch till 6+pm..argh! tink i contributed the least idea..haha! cos i really dunno wat to suggest n i always end up talking nonsense anyway. jus came back fr stayover last nite..at yanling's hall 15. haha! her rm mate not stayin..so i decided to take the opportunity to expErience hostel life for one niTE!waHAhahah!

Monday went for lecture wif connie n Shuwen, jeanette n 2 other NY gals.. haha! got goody bags! chicken rice damn cheaP! $1.50 only for a plate!

i wan stay hostel la~~~ no one share wif me! It's quite sad to haf so little gd frens in NTU.. all of em either in nus, sim, nyp...etc... yaY* at least i got rachel n yanling! gotta go visit Rach at hall 8 one day :D sorry to turn down ur invitation to stay wif u today!

After our lect on our 2nd day, we went shopping in our campus the whole afternoOn! haha! Got to know yanling's OG gals.. Serene (same tutorial grp!), YiHui n Yang Yan. They bought cheap printers n laptop! Went wif yanling to haf her dinner wif her OG pple at nite.. all quite fun n lame la..but i haf MajoR problems connecting to pple i jus got to know. So i'm quiet most of the time..jus observe can le... hmm..i seriously wonder how one can connect so easily wif a stranger n start laming on the first day. i can't!! :'( i dun lyk new environment!!~~~ i wan all my ex classmates la *soBz*

went back to yanling's hostel at bout 2am? woke at ard 9+ n decided to do a bit of exploring! yaY* i lyk! got Nanyang supermarket! did somemore shopping..then went for roti prata breakfast n collected Yanling's laptop, n she could connect to the network via ethernet str awaY! haha! so happy for her..she can finally go online!

damn it! i tot i had alrd matriculated..cos i alrd obtained the matriculation number online ma..

but i din know got another step to complete the wholE proceduRe!! mus log on to ur accnt 1 day after u retrieved ur matric. no then they caN set up a schedule for u..n grp u into respective tutorial n lecture grps..SoBZ!!!~

the dateline was yesterday..i i jus completed the whole procedure at lyk..9pm+ today! :"( when i click the button to collect my timetable..one window popped up saying sumthin lyk u haf not registered for any subjects...so saD~~~ i got no course! no grouping!

My fren heard fr her snr say if neva matriculate b4 dateline..then wun be accepted as NTU student! arGH! if dat really happens..i'll sue em!! Bbq is alwaYz gr8 at syaz's condo..heE! it's not jus the comFort n convenience..the fOod is sUperB!!!~ Juicy sotongs, stingrays wif Chinchalok chilli..*yuMyuM*...nicely cooKEd chicken wings & drumlets--> not too buRnt, not uncooked..Jus nicE!!! n mashed potatoes! Marshmallows!!!! i grilled em to a slight brownish-tan..n it reaLLy meLts in the mouTH!!! n crisPy on the outside..HmmMmm....sLurRRpz~~

Seriously, dat's the only Bbq where i can eat till my tummY burst!! cos they haf suCh tasTy food! :D other bbqs' food jus suX... n we discovered an easy way to bbq..jus buy the whole starter kit..the packaged chacoal in a tray.. everything is provided!

It's easy to start fire, no fanning required, nice fiRe..jus use n throw... it's sOooOo convenient u can even bbq indOors! heE! even though we had the same things in each bbq we organised--occasionally wif prawns sponsored fr syaz's family- i dun think i'll get sick of it..haha!

got to tutor a K1 boyboy today at a condo near Admiralty mrt stn...i dun lyk the motheR!!! eEEe....so evil to the maid one lor! so far, during my 1.5 hrs spent dere, i realised the mother ALWAYS use the fierce n strict tone when talkin to the maid..

when the parents first came in, me n the kiddo was sitting at the coffee table in the living rm.. then they approached n the mum suddenly, sort of shouted...Why like dat?! aiyoh, the shadow covering his sighT!! (the boy was writing wif the head's shadow casted over the book..)
then the mum scolded the maid: u dunno how to check is it!

then aH! all the assesment bks, used by the elder sister, exercises all done in pencil already...
so the mother tell the maid fiercely: all these bks mus erase ok! hai~ pity the maid

Taught the kid Aaron chinese n math today...math was the easiest to teach..count fingers!But the mum constantly walking ard..can feel her menacing looks on me...haha! she ar..trying to act kind&frenly only..but i can sEEEEE the dark clouds ard her... ...

She even gave me a note bk, ask me write down all wat i taught for dat day, n his hw....so demanding!! she wan me teach aaron how to read..how to teach a K1 to read ar? i haf no idea... still mus teach him 'have, has, etc...' hai~ thnk the boy can't take it one la~~ only 6 yrs old!! so sad...tuition at 6, wat is dis woRld comin to?!?!
Damn it, nxt monday 7.30 again... shall teach english n math...2 subjects every lesson. =(

wOah!! gr8 day todaY! haha...dis yr i'm so free dat i had a 3-day-celebRation for my 19th bdaY!!
haha, pre-bday, Bday, n post-bday celebrations...hahaH!

all 3 days were well-spent! reaLLy happy!! :D

today i finAlly got to eat at Billy bombeRS!! wEee! the drinks were all really special.. i lyk the mocha milkshake i had! lyn had dis choc0-flavoured-coke..hahah! no bad wor! dere was dis dish we shared..the Honey chicken sumthin..haha! all thnx to weiling n me, we helped cut up the fRied chickens n it ended up in a meSS! reaL mess!!! gosh..it was really gross..haha! cos each time we realised we had cut out the fats, we jus dump em back into the plate..so u could imagine wat it was lyk.. had a burger n mixed grill too! dun woRRy, they were in gd hands of jasmin's n lyn's..heE!

plenTy of suRprises today..saw Danchi n SM at billy too, then dis STella fr the geng-ki-des slimming tea..haha! saw alvina after our dinner too...but BIGGEST surprise of the day-->

my frens magically made a cake turn up after my trip to the toilet! i knew sumthin was up durin the dinner actually..but i din really expect a cake to be deRe!! they came empty-handed...then when i walked off, they were smiling cheekily at me wif a small cake on the table..to thnk they even told me it was sort of a complimentary gift fr Billy Bombers for spending so much..haha!

Later i got to know they had it delivered..nice champagne cakE! then they bullied mEEE!!!! made me write my name wif my butt!! ='( eEee..... so sad..luckily i bargained wif em..haha! i was supposed to hug 1 guy 2 tables away fr us.. how on eArth did my frens come up wif daT?!

haha! nxt thing i knew, they gave me my "bday card" -dat was wat they claimed to be.. but when i opened it n turneD it ard...bottOm of the blue card it says--> Gift Voucher.

i was lyk, !?!???!?!?!! ok, dat's not jus it, cos i was thnking..maybe some shopping voucher..those taka couchers or isetan vouchers..etc.. BUT!!! when i opened it...i saw the words, BIG n boLD... BIRKENSTOCK

sOoo nicE! i din know Sembawang Shopping Centre got gd food! got one place..sort of lyk hawker..but the stalls r all in the shape of huts... got about ..5 booths..sellling authentic malay food.. the satay sOooo nicE!!!! the teh tarik..suPerb! got prata also!! cheese prata..haha! but i think ok la..i still prefer original pratas..

Yupz! i'm back fr hk! haha..landed at ard 1150pm on 15th May. can't believe it...me, lyn n weiling were actualLy late for the take off plane fr SG to HK!! ahhaAH!

bad starTing...but gd experience =D HK was ok, scenery was gReEat! so mountainous! food was ok... i lost some fats at the tumMy dere! jus realised cos the jeans i wore to work today..not tighT!! waHAhaH! could be due to walking too much in hk..n irregular meal times?? yaY! happy!

Regretted very veRy much for not contacting my aunt in HK! cos she bought lotsa food for me to bring back to sg!! =( thnk she suRe know where to bring us for gd n cheaP food! haha! now at work..bOred... haha! i'll create another bloG for my HK stuff so can update all my frens bout it ya? weE! mus all meet up one day!!!! espiecially yq n sj n wanlin la! alwayz Missing in aCtion..haha!

ohn0..haha! i think i'm dead~~ i'm so obssesed wif shooping..but then again, i havEn been buying ANYTHING for the past few wks!!! haah! it's time i reward myself wif sumthin =D

shopping really works wonders... it can cuRe anYthing fr depressions, PMSs and any other sickness.. i was havin my saturday-blues (after havin 3 days' break), i even felt feverish n tot i detected minor headaches n dizzy spells..

Then, my colleague Aisha started cutting out coupons fr her Cleo mag n showed me all those offers at Heeren.. woAH! n today is lyk the last day for the sale!! haha! n she bought the mag since wks ago..only to haf discover dis aMazing fact jus todaY! haha!

We went for a..2+ hrs break, NYDC had the one-for-one offer, so we actually paid $10 each for 2 set lunches! *bloaTed* after which we wen to havaiinas n bought sliPpErs! the buy-2nd-pair-for-half-the-price offer... i saw a reaLLy nice flip-flop! briGht blue strap..n ver floral prinTed base! but ar..it cost $39.90!!! almost half a birkernstock..haha! but the blue very nice leh~~

so, to be faiR, i chose a cheaper one la, also got floral patterN! =D got bits of niCe greens on black.. a bit unlyk me cos i usually lyk briGht colourful things..haha! well, a change for once, maybe i can be equaLLy cOooOOool~~ wahAhah! let me take a look at it again..woO! nicE! again..not say very...argh~ neva mind.. it's nice...dat's final!

weLL, the best thing is, all these exciting shopping trips happened duRing our work-time, it's lyk..we're paid for shopping..sumthin lyk dat la..haha! Yupz, great isn't it?!
